To put it bluntly, the coronavirus pandemic has been awful for everyone. No one has been spared of its disastrous effects. People all over Canada and the world have had to battle with this contagious virus, forcing us to change our lives completely. Gone are the days when we could socialize freely. Instead, social distancing and self-isolation have become the norm. As a result, many of us have not gathered with our family members and friends for so long.
Of course, my heart bleeds for those who have lost their lives. The impact of COVID-19 has truly been tragic. This week’s blog, however, is in no way intended to be a “boo-hoo” piece. In fact, my objective is to make it the complete opposite. I revisit the stressfulness of the pandemic to say the following. I’m incredibly proud of you! You have endured one of the worst experiences of our lifetimes and you’re still trudging through it with the rest of us.
I’m so grateful for my wonderful staff!
I’m so proud of you for showing your resiliency during this incredibly tough time. You could have all packed it in. You could have all said, “this is too stressful” or “this is too dangerous”. But you were relentless in your double-pursuit to stay safe while providing the clients of Enviro-Works Inc. with the top-of-the-line services we’ve always promised them.
You have been diligent in your ability to practice safety protocol, thus keeping your co-workers and family members safe from the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, you have also completed your jobs with grace. You have offered warm welcomes and inviting smiles to everyone who has entrusted Enviro-Works Inc. to help keep their homes and workplaces pollutant-free. It’s a testament to how amazing I’ve always known you to be!
We’ve all had to adapt in a number of ways.
As mentioned, the coronavirus pandemic has forced us to operate our business in a way we never before imagined. Back in March, we devoted ourselves to preventing the spread of COVID-19 at our place of business as best we could.
We frequently wiped down high contact surfaces and contact points in our working environment. We kindly asked our clients to use our drop-off bin in order to drop off any and all samples. That way, they didn’t have to deliver them to our front reception area. As well, we practiced social distancing to the best of our ability, encouraged frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer and wore our face masks.
I’d also like to thank all of our wonderful clients!
You have been equal parts courageous and understanding. You have also been as patient as you have been kind. As mentioned, working during a pandemic clearly presents new, never-before-seen challenges. Without your support, operating Enviro-Works Inc. in a safe manner wouldn’t have been possible. I am now and forever will be very grateful for your support and your efforts in keeping everyone involved in our company safe at all times.
If we can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Give us a call at 780-457-4652, ext. 0 to let us know if you plan on visiting us in person. You may also email us at info@enviro-works.com. Stay safe and remain positive!
